We help support their Syspro systems across the UK and Europe and here's what they have to say:
"Since day one, Paul and his team have always been on hand to provide support and advice at a moment's notice both during the working day and "out-of-hours" despite us having no formal contract with them....
So far, we have not had a problem they can't solve or provide advice on, we are very happy with the service they provide. I would definitely recommend them to other Syspro users."
- Ian Wallace, MIS Team Leader.

We are currently in the process of installing a 30+ user system into a major manufacturer in Grantham. Mr H IT is working closely with the management team to implement a full Syspro system which we hope will go live on the 1st January.

We have project managed a full Syspro implementation into a large 40m turnover manufacturer and then extended the use of the system into one of their sites that already used Syspro. We helped them run the system from one server in Leicester over a virtual private network (VPN). We also managed and improved the entire IT infrastructure for this organisation.

We have been helping a leading polymer manufacturer to write some rather complicated SRS reports. We have also been giving them training to enable them to write their own reports in the future.

Our consultant, Ian Morgan, project managed a full implementation into a high volume retail supplier split over 3 sites, and comprising multiple legal entities. This involved huge amounts of process automation, 3rd party warehouse interfacing, EDI links to major high street stores, as well as bespoke work for the automated matching of payments to invoices.

Our consultant has conducted a long term contract to harness benefits from Syspro at a Food production facility in Bedfordshire. This work involved increasing the usage of Syspro from a handful of individuals, to its current position at the heart of the organisation. This was achieved through the implementation of more functionality, targeted training, barcode technology, and a suite of new management reports to improve visibility of the business, hence increasing the overall performance.

In addition to on-site training we now also provide off site training courses at our purpose built facility in Leicester. We pride ourselves on not only offering the standard courses but also tailoring the course to suite the trainees. Our friendly environment coupled with experienced trainers gives an enjoyable and informative day packed with information that will improve your use of Syspro. If you do prefer to train off site, we are conveniently located only 5 minutes from M1, junction 21, also with easy access to the M69 & M6.

One of the items we felt was missing from Syspro was a supplier calendar. After you have ran MRP and allowed it to suggest when purchase orders should be placed it does not take into account that the supplier may well be on their annual holidays. We have written a supplier calendar program outside of Syspro which takes the standard MRP output and adjusts the suggestions based on the supplier calendar.

Are you using structured GL in Syspro? We have been working with companies to implement this feature help them use the new facilities and produce balance sheet and profit and loss automatically.

It is fairly simple in Syspro to see how much you currently owe your suppliers. However it's more difficult to project how much you may owe them in the coming months or weeks. This system collects Data from PO's and GRN's and existing invoices to predict how much you may well owe you suppliers in the future. It's a step further than the purchase order commitment report. This coupled with projected invoices can help to give you more accurate cash flow projections.

Always tricky but we have worked with many companies to produce more accurate and easier to read WIP valuation reports in excel. One even put every job into a separate tab on an excel spreadsheet and analysed not only the jobs current costs but also if it was still on track to make a profit. Of course those that weren't were highlighted.

We have written various reports that basically take the BOM where used reporting to another level. Allowing you to drill down into you sales for example to look at what materials you used and indeed what materials made what sales...

Using the data captured within Syspro and the standard functionality of SRS we have produced detailed 'Certificate of Conformities' for quality purposes, to send to customers, with composition data of the items manufactured, lot numbers, and processes by which they were manufactured. This includes details such as 'Cure Dates' and 'Cast Numbers' for traceability and quality management purposes.

Using the standards serial tracking in Syspro we have managed to turn this into a warranty system. We have built a system that allows the serial number to have transactions and history such as service interval data. Work that may have been completed on the item in the past can also be recorded. All of this data can then be reported on in case of a warranty claim when basically date of manufacture just isn't enough.

One of the most important benefits of having Syspro and collecting all that data is the ability to report on it. We have worked with many companies helping them produce reports that are currently being produced manually and turning them into a click of a button. For example all your KPI reports should be totally automatic. We also like to understand your business and we have been known to suggest reports that you have never thought of that make a substantial difference to your business.

In response to customer needs, we have developed reports to enable detailed yield reporting. These can allow a user to take any stock code, and determine every component that makes this item, and every parent that the item goes into. Linking this data to sales of the parent items, and to the consumption of the component items, this allows us to improve the visibility of actual production yields, versus the expected production yields from your Bill of Materials data. This is just one example of where our superior reporting skills can add benefits to your business.

In response to customer requests, we now have a solution to print the specification of products, or pictures of products on any stationery document, such as Job Cards, Sales Orders, Invoices, Dispatch Notes, Purchase Orders. We can also do this on standard reports if required. This is a great way to make sure your supplier sends you the right product without errors, or to make sure your shop floor manufacture an item according to the exact specification required.
